I purchased a Defense Basket early this year and I'm trying to sell it.I was told it would take 2-4 weeks for me to get my money.It's been 6 weeks and still nothing.Do not waste your time and money investing with this company,it's not worth it.

The sale of baskets is subject to liquidity as per Electio's standard terms and conditions. Whilst we endeavour to give our clients a reasonable expectation of the liquidation period, Electio can make no guarantee as to exactly when a sale request will be executed.

As I'm sure your broker will have informed you, liquidity can fluctuate based on a number of different factors. These factors could be driven by changes in currency, industry or sector demand or even seasonal need for capital by our clients. Recently we have experienced a heavy volume of sales recently due to the up coming Christmas period. This has created a small backlog which is pushing the time frames for sale back slightly. This is typical of this time of year.

I can confirm that your sale request has been logged and your basket is queued for sale. We expect to be able to liquidate your investment shortly and will keep you informed of progress. We appreciate your continued patience and will inform you as soon as your basket has been sold.

Electio Invest - Www.electio-invest.com tech metals scam

www.electio-invest.com a Dubai based company recently cold called me pushing "technology metals" very interesting on first review!

Further digging shows that "technology metals" are actually Rare earth Metals- which was a huge scam in the UK sometime back.

The scam obviously landed in Dubai a year or so later and recently Advanced global trading (Agt) was closed down for not paying out investors

Electio Invest - Worst nightmare of my life
I invested a lumpsum of almost R60000. After 2 years down the line, when I wanted to deposit a house, this investment company closed doors on me and disappeared. They never returned my calls. I need help if possible. Am willing to provide the inform I still have. Unfortunately, they deleted original emails. I believe from their serve as they mysteriously disappeared too from my inbox. I need my money.

From 2015 Noveber when I invested my lump sum with Electio alternative investments (Sometimes callied GE investments) I was introduced to the world of cruel scamsters in South Africa who have seen the loopholes in our country's business laws and have taken advantage; but to the detriment of ordinary citizens. My question is, how is it possible for an entity to register its business in South Africa and take a multiple of people's money, and yet succeed without any hindrances, Inspite of reporting the fraud to various authorities in SA? I am convinced our country is an easy crime spot. I am amazed at how easy Electio has been able to take from the public and yet no one of the following peole that are associated with this scam has been bothered: Shaunita Singh, Ian Mc Gregor, Kyle Pillay and Nathan Demon, to name just a few of them. These people live here in this country and they know very well the crime they have committed; and are still under cover. What a cruel way to take people's money by Electio alternative investments, I can count over twenty people who have lost thousands of rands to this ruthless scam; including myself. This is a multi million rand scam, how can we not make a loud enough noise to get justice served on our side? It will not be a surprise to find that this company is now contemplating another big scam in a different name and setting. Somebody in the law sector please help.

I have tried what is possible in my power to expose Electio. But now I know that this is a well planned movement.

Search for the people who used to hold your accounts there; they are doing well elsewhere.

For example, Kyle Pillay is with Hexagon investments in Randburg and hold a good position, and me?

Bankrupt!

I will surely not rest until I get something out of what I have lost through some of these guys.

Cruel thives who bounce from one firm to another scamming people. Watch out for Hexagon investments which is an affiliate of Liberty Life.

They were able to run their scam in different countries and collect a lot of cash selling dreams. then disappeared in peace. I did go to court in Dubai, and won. But so what, my money is not back and all our money they are now spending and enjoying. Why is this not investigated by the government of SA, and why since the scan was international the Interpol is not involved, they must have stolen millions of USD. I guess we have only God to pray for that they pay for that in any other way. Good luck all..

Any progress from complainants and or investigation in SA. I invested as well and have difficulty in reaching them.

Believe their offices have closed down.

What process should one follow if you are a victim as well. It is so unfair that South Africans are paying the penalty for these unscrupulous monsters targeting innocent honest persons.

I BOUGHT 2 BASKETS IN MAY and JUNE 2015. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT THEM SINCE MARCH, 2017 WITHOUT SUCCESS. IN JULY I RECEIVED COMMUNICATION TO TRANSFER MY ASSETS TO A DIFFERENT WAREHOUSE BUT THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE ELECTIO CANNOT BE CONTACTED AT ALL. I HAVE HEARD RUMOURS THAT SHAUNITA SINGH IS NOW EMPLOYED IN THE USA . SINCE I AM BASED IN CAPETOWN I CANNOT VISIT THEIR OFFICES. HOWEVER, READING THE EXPERIENCE OF OTHERS INFORMS ME THAT THIS WOULD BE A USELESS EXERCISE. I AM AT A TOTAL LOSS AS TO HOW TO PROCEED. I AM A PENSIONER WITH A MONTHLY PENSION OF US$150 AND I HAD INVESTED A MAJOR PORTION OF MY SAVINGS WITH ELECTIO. I AM HOPING THAT THESE CROOKS CAN BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE.

I have not heard from Electio for about 2 months now. When I went to their offices once, it was closed before 4pm.

No one answers my e-mails, and I have not had a financial statement of my investment since I started investing with them in 2014. I am helpless. Electio is legally established to loot people's money as their contract cannot be substantially debated in court. Electio alternative investments is a purposeful, and well planned scam against poor individuals.

1. You have no access to your metals that you bought. 2. You have no idea what the product is like, and you are denied even the access.

3. You are unable to be allowed to auction these metals since thy always say liquidity is poor. 4.

You are under their mercy for your money. I tried most established legal offices such as consumer council, but they did not even attempt trying to find out what Electio is doing .

I since invested a sum of about R 246 000 in November 2014 with Electio investments at Melrose Arch. Everything seemed fine until I asked to withdraw my funds a year later in November 2015. Two of their employees who were managing my account resigned, but I only discovered that for myself since they told me lies that these people had been on a business trip respectively and that I should wait for them to return (just to delay my enquiry) Now I was being served by a certain Shaunita Singh, who is also no longer answering my e-mails as I have since been asking for a withdrawal. I believe she might have resigned too. Electio has no respect for its clients; and I can prove it. They tell lies and promise things which never materialise. There are no statements about my investment since 2014, and that makes me realise that they have just caught me with a bate; just like others who have invested with them. I am not sure how this company manages to stay in operation whilst it is clear they are looting people's monies.

I received the same cessation notice and replied to mail but no further reply from them and office numbers don't exist anymore. all the empty promises - requested to withdraw months ago with Shaunita Singh and that too never materialized.

How can I get my money back.

If anyone know how I take further steps?

Hi

I have also invested with Electio and got regular updates in terms of basket performance. I have had constant feedback (email & calls) from Shaunita Singh in terms investment returns.

When I decided to draw my investments, emails & calls were not answered. Emails to her & Electio proved fruitless as it was not answered.

I am also in agreement with several other investors to be part of any legal action in order to get our investments back. My email address is : rajinpillay315@gmail.com

I need to know how I can be able to access the money that I have payed to Electio Alternative investments, and then restore my life back to normal. I have squandered R 260 000 through Electio's trick. They took from me what I thought was the start of my experience of a better life. I regret having to associate myself with these Capitalists who take from the have-not. Electio alternative investments has been nothing but a nightmare for SA citizens. Their image of an eagle is indeed a first indicator that they are faceless predators who will bring poverty to many, but get themselves rich at the cost of others..

Electio cessation of dealing notice

I have today, 26 July 2017, received notice from Electio that they will no longer trade my baskets, Green Baskets. Clause 8.3 of their T&C's states that they need first to give notice of their intention to cease trading. I have tried contacting their offices and get voicemail referring me to their support website. I have contacted their support team but as yet have had no response. As a layman I am not sure what I am now expected to do - all I want is to realise my investment. Reading the numerous posts it would seem that this is not going to happen. I would consider joint action against Electio if there is any such group.
